Over the years cigarettes have been called many things.  There are more slang terms for cigarettes than many other products.  Here are all the nicknames and slang terms we know of for cigarettes.

smokes, butts, squares, snouts, cigs, ciggies, ciggys, geek-joints, stogs, stogies, stogeys, stoogs, stoges, stokes,  tabs, loosey, burns, backwards, bogeys

boges, gorts, ciggy wiggy dilly's, drags, dumos, darts, refries (this is if they've been used already), straights, dugans, smokes, hairy rags, hausersticks, jacks, joes (from Camel cigarettes mascot Joe)

grits, grants, tailies,  fags, coffin nails, cancer sticks, lung darts, sweet cancer, gaspers, black lungs, Doogans, Durries, death stick, rollies, ronnies, prison rolls, gyppo fags.

You may have heard of some other nicknames or slang terms for cigarettes in the US, New Zealand, UK, Australia and other countries, but these are the most common  and certainly probably not a complete list although we think we have found most of them.
